Weimar Motors Announces New Car ‘Ready to Set Sail,’ Expected to Resume Work and Production Soon
On July 25th, WM Motor made an official announcement on its official Weibo, stating that their new car is “ready to go” and prepared to set sail. The company shared photos of the new car parked in front of a freighter, but the specific destination for the new car’s export was not disclosed.
Earlier, on July 4th, WM Motor responded to being listed as a dishonest executor and clarified that the height limit order of Shen Hui, the legal person of WM Motor Technology Group Co., Ltd., has been revoked. Under Shen Hui’s leadership, WM Motor is fully committed to providing customer services, repaying debts in an orderly manner according to the law, and actively advancing plans for new energy vehicles to go overseas. The company expects to resume work and production in the near future and return to normal operations.
Weimar Motors, once known as one of the “Four Little Dragons” in the new car-making force, alongside Wei Xiaoli, has faced challenges and negativity since last year. Despite this, the company’s recent actions, including the OTA upgrade of the EX5 model with Living Engine 2.2 on July 11, show a determination to resume work and production at an accelerated pace.
As Weimar Motors moves forward, industry observers are keeping a close eye on the company’s efforts to regain its position in the market and overcome past challenges.
