Chinese tech giant Xiaomi marked a significant milestone in April, delivering 7,058 units of its SU7 electric vehicles (EV) after commencing deliveries on April 3.

As of April 30, 24:00 Beijing Time, Xiaomi EV announced on Weibo that they had received a staggering 88,063 locked-in orders for the SU7.

Xiaomi EV revealed that among the locked-in order holders, 28 percent were female, 29 percent were customers with previous ownership of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Audi models, va 52.5 percent were Apple users.

Efforts to expand production capacity for the SU7 are in full swing, aimed at accelerating deliveries and ensuring the achievement of the target of delivering 100,000 birliklari bu yil, according to Xiaomi.

Xiaomi EV expressed its ambitious vision, stating, “We believe that one day, there will be Xiaomi cars riding on every road around the world!”

The factory of Xiaomi EV, situated in Yizhuang, Pekin, has a planned annual capacity of 300,000 birliklar, with Phase I already completed in June 2023, boasting an annual capacity of 150,000 transport vositalari. Phase II, scheduled for construction in 2024 and completion in 2025, will further enhance the plant’s capacity.
