GAC Trumpchi E8 Reveals Interior Photos Ahead of Launch Later This Year
GAC Motor’s Trumpchi has released interior photos of its upcoming mid-sized MPV, the E8, which is set to hit the market later this year. These interior images follow the release of renderings for the plug-in hybrid version of the vehicle (PHEV) last week.
The interior of the Trumpchi E8 adopts a new design concept referred to as the “mobile living room.” It features a floating center control screen and an embedded instrument screen. The overall design of the center console is sleek and aesthetically pleasing. Key elements like the vehicle start button and gear control are located on the front left of the center island console. Qo'shimcha, the E8 includes crystal shift paddles and a wireless cell phone charging panel along with cup holders on the right side.
In terms of the exterior design, the Trumpchi E8 features split headlights created by horizontal one-light bands and vertical continuous light bands, providing the front end with a three-dimensional appearance. The PHEV version also incorporates a grille design that matches the body color, contributing to an overall clean and simple look. The rear of the vehicle features a more straightforward and traditional penetrating tail light design. Bundan tashqari, the tail’s logo is connected to the lights and can be illuminated.
Power for the Trumpchi E8 comes from a PHEV system consisting of either a 1.8L or a 2.0L engine paired with a ternary lithium battery pack. The 1.8L engine delivers a maximum power of 98 kVt, while the 2.0L engine provides a maximum power of 103 kVt, coupled with a 2-speed DHT transmission. The battery pack has a capacity of 25.57 kVt/soat, but the pure electric range has not been specified. The MPV is built on a chassis measuring 4920/1900/1760 mm and sits on a 2930 mm g'ildirak bazasi.
Hozirda, the E9 is another PHEV MPV offered under GAC’s Trumpchi brand, with an official price range of 329,800 uchun 389,800 yuan (taxminan $45,200 uchun $53,400 USD). The E8 is expected to position itself below the E9, following the naming convention.
