The latest catalog released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) features the ID.UNYX from Volkswagen Anhui, inviting public feedback from March 13 to March 19. Inclusion in this catalog represents the final regulatory step before a model can be sold in China.

The ID.UNYX, listed in two variants – the VWA64702BEV1 and VWA64703BEV1 – boasts distinctive specifications. The single-motor version harnesses a 170 kW electric motor, while the dual-motor variant combines electric motors with maximum powers of 80 kVt va 170 kVt, mos ravishda.

According to its filing, the five-seater ID.UNYX measures 4,663 mm uzunlikda, 1,860 mm kengligida, va 1,610 mm balandlikda, g'ildirak bazasi bilan 2,766 mm. Both versions feature lithium ternary battery packs sourced from CATL.

Volkswagen Anhui operates Volkswagen’s third MEB (modular electric drive matrix) plant in China, dedicated to producing pure electric vehicles based on the platform. E'tiborlisi, the Cupra Tavascan, an all-electric model designed for export to the European market, commenced production under Volkswagen Anhui’s auspices, with plans for another Volkswagen-branded model tailored for the Chinese market slated for 2024.

Cupra, a subsidiary of Volkswagen’s SEAT brand, introduced the Tavascan concept in 2019, underpinned by the MEB platform, showcasing Volkswagen Anhui’s commitment to cutting-edge electric vehicle technology.
