Xiaomi EV Achieves Production Milestone, On Track to Surpass 100,000 Deliveries by Early November - News - 1

Xiaomi EV, รถยนต์ไฟฟ้า (อีวี) division of Xiaomi, has successfully completed its factory capacity ramp-up and is set to meet its full-year delivery target of 100,000 units by early November, two months ahead of schedule, according to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun.

In a recent Weibo post, Lei Jun confirmed that Xiaomi EV has achieved its production milestone and is on track to reach its ambitious delivery goals. The company’s first model, the Xiaomi SU7, has already delivered over 30,000 units within just three months of its launch, with July deliveries expected to surpass 10,000 หน่วย.

By December, Xiaomi EV plans to expand its retail presence to include 220 sales stores, 135 service stores, และ 53 delivery centers across 59 เมืองใน ประเทศจีน. ปัจจุบัน, the brand operates 93 sales stores, 57 service stores, และ 30 delivery centers in 31 cities throughout the country.

On July 2nd, Xiaomi EV informed its order holders via a Weibo post that the delivery ramp-up for the Xiaomi SU7 was progressing smoothly, with the factory transitioning to double-shift production in June and achieving single-month deliveries exceeding 10,000 หน่วย. The company also mentioned plans for a new round of production line tuning and maintenance to prepare for future capacity enhancements.

Although there was a temporary slowdown in deliveries during the month due to the factory’s production line adjustments, Xiaomi assured customers that this would not affect the goal of delivering more than 10,000 หน่วยในเดือนกรกฎาคม. According to figures compiled by CnEVPost, ดิ เสี่ยวหมี่ SU7’s insurance registrations in the second and third weeks of July were 2,300 และ 1,500 หน่วย, ตามลําดับ, marking a decrease from the previous week.

In response to concerns raised on Chinese social media, Xiaomi’s General Manager of Public Relations, Wang Hua, clarified that the planned production line maintenance in July would not hinder the company’s delivery targets. Wang stated, “I just checked the backend delivery data, and with seven days left in the month, it’s not challenging for deliveries to continue to exceed 10,000.”

During a May 23rd earnings call, Xiaomi’s management expressed confidence in delivering at least 100,000 units for the full year of 2024 and set a challenge to achieve 120,000 deliveries.
