BYD Launches Refreshed e2 Honor Edition with Starting Price at $12,400

March 13th marks the debut of the latest addition to บีวายดี‘s “Honor” lineup, the BYD e2 Honor Edition. This edition features two models boasting a CLTC (China standardized testing) pure electric range of 405 กิโลเมตร, with an official price range spanning from 89,800 หยวน ($12,400) ถึง 96,800 หยวน ($13,400). Part of the บีวายดี Ocean series, the e2 Honor Edition boasts over 12 core features, including blade batteries, a heat pump air conditioning system, NFC car key with smartphone connectivity, and fast charging capabilities.

The design language of the Ocean series continues with the e2 Honor Edition, showcasing a newly designed closed front grille, slim headlights, and a three-section lower intake grille. Powered by e-platform 3.0 and an integrated eight-in-one electric powertrain system, the e2 Honor Edition offers enhanced efficiency and performance. The heat pump system regulates battery temperature using direct cooling and heating technology, improving range by over 10% even in low-temperature conditions. Performance-wise, the e2 is driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor generating a maximum power output of 70 กิโลวัตต์.

Safety features include the high-safety LFP blade battery, combining safety with energy density, and a vehicle structure employing a 3H high-strength design with over 50% high-strength steel content.
