As of late 2023, บีวายดี, the Chinese leader in new energy vehicles (NEVs), employed a total workforce of 703,504, comprising 524,673 production staff and 104,003 technical specialists. The company recently announced that over 10,000 recent college graduates have joined their ranks.

Of these new hires, nearly 70% hold master’s or doctoral degrees, and about 80% are engaged in research and development, according to a post by BYD on Weibo.

BYD operates across multiple sectors, including automotive manufacturing, battery production, consumer electronics assembly, and rail transportation. Its automotive division includes the brands BYD, เดนซา, ฟางเฉิงเปา, และ Yangwang.
