This announcement from Nio follows information previously shared by a social media user regarding the upcoming EC6 launch.

The EC6 is the only remaining Nio model that has yet to transition from the older NT 1.0 platform to the newer NT 2.0 платформа, and Nio has not provided further details about the vehicle at this time.

A Weibo user quoted Nio’s co-founder and president, Qin Lihong, as revealing at a partner conference that the new EC6 would be released on September 15, with deliveries commencing shortly after.
