BYD представляет компактный электромобиль Dolphin в Малайзии: Последний запуск гиганта по производству автомобилей на новых источниках энергии
BYD has officially introduced its compact электромобиль (ЭВ) Дельфин to the Malaysian market, marking its second model in the country following the Atto 3. Collaborating with Malaysian distributor Sime Darby Motors, the Dolphin was unveiled at a special event on July 27, as announced in BYD’s press release.
The BYD Dolphin is available in two versions in Malaysia, по цене 99,900 ringgit ($22,138) и 124,900 ringgit, соответственно. В сравнении, China offers three versions, от юаня 116,800 ($16,270), Юань 123,800, и юани 136,800.
Мерный 4,125 мм в длину, 1,770 мм в ширину, и 1,570 мм в высоту, с колесной базой 2,700 миллиметр, the BYD Dolphin entered the Chinese market on August 29, 2021.
The Atto 3’s successful launch in December last year marked BYD’s formal entry into the Malaysian passenger car market, where the company has established eight operational stores. According to Liu Xueliang, general manager of BYD Asia-Pacific auto sales division, BYD aims to enhance accessibility to its products and services nationwide, in partnership with local entities.
Атто 3 has rapidly gained popularity in the Malaysian EV market, positioning BYD as the leading brand for EV sales in the country.
While BYD entered the Malaysian market in 2014, its initial focus was on commercial vehicles and local assembly of electric buses. The collaboration with Sime Darby Motors, beginning in October 2022, allowed BYD to import its passenger cars, leading to the launch of the BYD Atto 3 in December of the same year.
