Nissan chega a acordo com a Tesla para adotar padrões de carregamento norte-americanos de 2025
De acordo com a notícia divulgada em julho 19, Nissan Motor announced that it has reached an agreement with Tesla to adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) a partir de 2025. O objetivo desta colaboração é fornecer aos proprietários da Nissan mais opções de carregamento para seus veículos elétricos.
As autoridades informaram Auto na China that, beginning in 2024, Nissan will offer NACS charging adapters for Ariya models. Atualmente, these models are equipped with a CCS1 adapter for DC fast charging. The introduction of NACS adapters will enable owners connect their vehicles’ charging ports compatible chargers using NACS plugs.
Starting in 2025, Nissan will also introduce EVs with NACS ports specifically designed for the U.S. and Canadian markets. This move will significantly expand the number of public fast-charging locations available for Nissan EVs.
As part of its “Ambition 2030” initiative, Nissan aims to achieve over 40 percent of its U.S. car sales as fully electric vehicles by 2030. Adicionalmente, the company plans to electrify even more vehicles in its lineup.
