BYD Yangwang debuts first model U8 at $150,600

Hoje, Yangwang, the luxury brand of BYD, officially launched its first production vehicle, o U8, na China. The starting price is RMB 1.098 milhão ($150,600) as in pre-sale, and deliveries are set to begin in October.

The Premium Edition offers ten driving modes and five functions including tank turn and support for floating. The Off-road Master Edition additionally supports custom off-road modes.

Yangwang plans to build a direct sales channel with more than 90 stores by the end of this year, covering more than 40 cidades em China.
