The Song L, constructed on the e-Platform 3.0, features CTB (cell-to-body) battery technology and a DiSus suspension system. Inspired by the Dragon Face design language, the front showcases unique elements like ‘dragon teeth’ and ‘dragon whiskers’, while the rear sports through-type taillights and an electric wing. Noteworthy design aspects include star-shaped rims, frameless doors, and concealed door handles. With dimensions of 4840/1950/1560 mm and a wheelbase of 2930 mm.

Inside, the dark gray interior with subtle fluorescent green accents is furnished in suede. It boasts a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a spacious 15.6-inch floating central control screen, and a 50-inch AR-HUD. The vehicle incorporates BYD’s latest DiLink operating system and DiPilot advanced driving assistance system, supporting over 30 functions such as driver fatigue monitoring and autonomous parking.

The center console includes two cup holders, a 50W wireless charging pad for mobile phones, and a crystal gear shifter. Moreover, the lower front part of the console is hollow to augment storage capacity.

The rear single-motor model is available in low and high-power versions: 150 kW (asynchronous motor) and 230 kW (permanent magnet synchronous motor), respectively. The dual-motor model has a combined power of 380 kW from front and rear motors. It achieves a top speed of 201 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Battery pack options include 71.808 kWh and 87.04 kWh, enabling cruising ranges from 550 km to 662 km.
