New BYD Dolphin Electric Hatchback: Updated Specs Revealed
On December 9, the latest version of the BYD Dolphin electric hatchback was revealed by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). As a facelift model, the updated Dolphin introduces subtle design changes and a new 130 kW (174 hp) electric motor option. The current 2025 BYD Dolphin is priced between 99,800 – 129,800 yuan (approximately 13,700 – 17,900 USD).
Impressive Sales Performance
The BYD Dolphin has been a strong performer in the market. In November alone, 21,712 units were sold, contributing to a total of 176,560 units sold in 2024. This highlights the car’s growing popularity in the compact EV segment.
