Li Auto's L6 Orders Surpass 41,000 Units - News - 1

Li Auto has revised the purchase incentives for its budget-friendly Li L6 model, slashing them by RMB 5,000 from the original offerings.

Between April 18 and May 5, Li Auto disclosed on Weibo that orders for the Li L6 have surpassed an impressive 41,000 units.

Introduced as the latest addition to its lineup of extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs), the Li L6, a five-seat SUV, hit the market on April 18. Available in Pro and Max trims with starting prices of RMB 249,800 and RMB 279,800 respectively, deliveries commenced on April 24.

This move marks a significant step for Li Auto, as the Li L6 now stands as its most affordable model, supplanting the 2024 Li L7, which starts at RMB 301,800.

Initially, customers ordering the Li L6 from April 18 to May 5 were entitled to a limited-time benefit package valued at RMB 20,000. This included a RMB 5,000 discount, RMB 10,000 in option funds, and RMB 5,000 for 7-kW AC charging piles and installation.

In response to the overwhelming demand, with over 10,000 orders received within 72 hours of launch on April 21, and surpassing 20,000 and 30,000 units on April 30 and May 4 respectively, Li Auto has now adjusted the purchase benefits for the Li L6.

Effective immediately, customers placing orders for the Li L6 by May 31 will enjoy benefits totaling RMB 15,000, including a RMB 5,000 discount, RMB 5,000 in option funds, and RMB 5,000 for 7-kW AC charging piles and installation services.

This revised offer halves the option funds compared to the earlier promotion.
