중국 자동차 대기업 Dongfeng Motor, Nammi 출시: 소형 전기차에 초점을 맞춘 새로운 브랜드
Dongfeng Motor, a prominent player in the Chinese automotive industry, has introduced a fresh contender, the Nammi brand, aimed at competing with models like SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Mini EV.
In a notable launch event held in Chengdu, Sichuan province, Dongfeng officially unveiled Nammi, positioning it as China’s premier car brand devoted to compact electric vehicles. The brand’s unique lettering is emblematic, with the ‘M’ 상징 “Me,” underscoring Nammi’s emphasis on meaningful user involvement, a trend seen across the automotive sector.
Nammi leverages Dongfeng’s quantum architecture’s No. 3 플랫폼, exclusively tailored to the brand. This platform promises a superior user experience in terms of spaciousness, 안전, energy efficiency, and advanced intelligence, according to Dongfeng’s announcement.
Dongfeng has previously introduced 신에너지 자동차 (네브섬) 브랜드 같은 보야, M 히어로, and eπ, with Nammi representing its latest foray into the electric vehicle segment.
Chen Hao, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng, emphasized Nammi’s significance in propelling the company towards its ambitious goal of achieving an annual NEV sales target of 1 백만 단위 기준 2025.
It’s noteworthy that Nammi embarked on independent operations in February and subsequently revealed its strategic roadmap for 2023-2025 in March.
Nammi’s debut offering, the Nammi 01, is set to officially launch in the fourth quarter of this year. This inaugural model will be followed by the introduction of 1-2 매년 새로운 모델, with an overarching objective of achieving sales surpassing 400,000 units by 2025.
The Nammi 01, the inaugural model under the Nammi brand, was introduced at the launch event. Its official assembly line rollout is anticipated in September, followed by mass production scheduled to commence in November.
