Great Wall Makes a Grand Entry into Vietnam’s Auto Market with the Local Launch of Haval H6 HEV

長城汽車 has made an impressive entry into the Vietnamese auto market, marking a significant milestone in its expansion into international territories. With the launch of the GWM brand in Vietnam, Great Wall unveiled its first model, ザ ハヴァル H6 HEVの, in a momentous event held in Hanoi on August 2.

The inauguration of Great Wall’s first store in Vietnam accompanied the model’s introduction, signaling a notable advancement in the company’s ASEAN strategy. Great Wall has established a comprehensive industrial system in the ASEAN region, encompassing research and development, sourcing and manufacturing, marketing, after-sales services, and information technology, all geared towards meeting the needs of ASEAN users. Clyde Cheng, President of Great Wall’s ASEAN region, emphasized this commitment in the press release.

ザ ハヴァル H6 HEVの, a global model from Great Wall, received an enthusiastic welcome during its launch in Vietnam, showcasing the company’s dedication to offering innovative and eco-friendly vehicles.

Great Wall’s exceptional performance in the new energy vehicle (新エネルギー車) segment reflects its success in the industry. In July alone, the company sold an impressive 28,896 新エネルギー車, reflecting a substantial increase of 163 percent compared to the same month last year, and an 8.35 percent rise from June’s figures, which stood at 26,643 単位. The company’s NEV sales from January to July reached an impressive 121,965 単位, demonstrating a remarkable year-on-year growth rate of 64 パーセント. While the company’s fuel vehicle sales figures are yet to be released, its strong NEV sales further solidify its position in the automotive market.
