The Huawei Maextro S800, the inaugural model of Huawei’s newest brand in the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), opened for pre-sale on November 26 during the Huawei Mate brand ceremony. Pre-sale prices range from 1 to 1.5 million yuan (approximately $137,950 to $206,950), with an initial deposit of 20,000 yuan ($2,750) required to secure interest.

Maextro, developed in collaboration with JAC, represents the premium segment of HIMA’s four automotive brands. Positioned as a D+ class executive sedan, the S800 targets elite competitors such as the Maybach S-Class and Rolls-Royce models. The S800’s grand dimensions—5480 mm in length, 2000 mm in width, and 1536 mm in height, with a 3370 mm wheelbase—place it among the largest vehicles on the road. Huawei’s Richard Yu emphasized that this luxury sedan surpasses 99.99% of cars in size, providing an opulent, spacious experience.
