Geely’s Zeekr 001 & Zeekr X Make Debut in European Market, Starting at 44,990 Euros
Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, part of the Geely family, are now available for reservation in the European market through Zeekr Europe’s official website. These premium electric vehicle models will make their debut in Sweden and the Netherlands, with deliveries set to commence this year.
In the Netherlands, Zeekr 001 starts at 59,490 euros, while Zeekr X starts at 44,990 euros.
Zeekr unveiled its European market strategy at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, adopting a direct-to-customer sales model in Europe. The first official brand stores will open in Stockholm and Amsterdam before the end of this year, followed by expansion throughout Western Europe by 2026.
Earlier, Zeekr announced the launch of its European official website (www.zeekr.eu) and initiated the first wave of pre-orders for Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X exclusively for selected European customers at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show.
Zeekr 001 is an electric hatchback available in four different models with CLTC cruising ranges of 546 km, 656 km, 741 km, and 1,032 km on the Chinese market. The prices range from 300,000 – 386,000 RMB (43,500 – 55,900 USD).
Zeekr 001 offers both dual-motor four-wheel drive and single-motor rear-wheel drive configurations. The dual-motor version delivers 400 kW and 686 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It features an 86 kWh or 100 kWh ternary lithium battery, providing CLTC cruising ranges of 546 km and 656 km, respectively. The single-motor rear-drive version outputs 200 kW and 343 Nm, equipped with CATL’s Qilin battery, the third generation of their cell-to-pack technology, with a capacity of 100 kWh and 140 kWh, achieving CLTC cruising ranges of 741 km and 1,032 km, respectively. All configurations support fast charging.
Zeekr X:
Zeekr X is a compact luxury electric SUV, built on the SEA electric architecture and representing the third vehicle under the Zeekr brand. It offers both single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The dual-motor version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a cruising range of 500 – 560 km. Powered by a 66-kWh battery, it generates up to 428 hp.
