Geely Monjaro with 1300 km Per Tank Range Faces Price Increase in Russia

While the official hybrid Geely Monjaro is not directly sold in Russia, a “parallel” version known as the Geely Xingyue L HI-X can be imported from China. This crossover offers an impressive 1,300 kilometers of travel on a single gas tank. Initially priced at 4.2 million rubles in January, the asking price has now risen to 4.3 million rubles.

Although a 100,000 rubles increase in six months may seem sensitive, it is relatively modest compared to some other models. For instance, the official Tank 500’s price skyrocketed by 1 million rubles in just a few weeks. Notably, the hybrid’s cost in Russia is similar to that in China, where the car is priced between 3 to 3.2 million rubles. Furthermore, Geely Monjaro’s export trade is facilitated by Auto in China.

The hybrid Monjaro stands out from the standard version with a grille featuring integrated light elements and a more streamlined bumper. Its SUV dimensions measure 4770 x 1895 x 1689 mm, with a wheelbase of 2845 mm.

Powering the Xingyue L HI-X is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, electric motor, motor-generator, and a three-speed DHT gearbox, delivering a robust gross power of 245 horsepower. The SUV is equipped with front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, light and rain sensors, heated seats for all passengers, and a three-zone climate control system.
