The highly anticipated Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i PHEV is set to officially enter the Chinese market on February 15. Pre-sales began on January 17, with a price range between 89,800 – 116,800 yuan (12,400 – 16,100 USD). However, Geely has confirmed a 7,000 yuan (970 USD) price reduction, bringing the starting price to 82,800 yuan (11,400 USD).

The Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i has now arrived in showrooms across China, maintaining the sleek design of the existing Galaxy L6 model. The vehicle’s dimensions are:

• Curb Weight: 1,570 – 1,700 kg

Powerful PHEV System with 2,000 km Range

Under the hood, the Galaxy L6 EM-i is powered by Geely’s advanced NordThor 2.0 PHEV system. It features a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine delivering 82 kW (110 hp) and 136 Nm of torque, combined with a 160 kW (215 hp) permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 262 Nm of torque. The system is paired with an E-DHT hybrid transmission.

The car comes with two LFP battery options:

• 8.5 kWh battery: 60 km CLTC pure electric range
• 19.09 kWh battery: 140 km CLTC pure electric range

The total driving range can reach 2,000 km, with an impressive fuel consumption of 2.9L/100 km. The top speed is 180 km/h, and the fuel tank capacity is 60L.

Fast Charging and Battery Performance

Only the 140 km range trims support fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. For slow charging, the time varies between 2.7 to 6 hours depending on the trim level.

Smart Cockpit with Advanced Tech

Inside, the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i features a high-tech cockpit, including:

• 10.2-inch LCD instrument panel
• Flyme Auto smart cockpit system

The top trim offers 50W wireless charging for smartphones. Select 140 km trims also come with L2 advanced driving assistance for enhanced safety.
