BYD Yuan UP (picture), this brand new small SUV will be officially unveiled on March 5 and will be launched at the end of March.
BYD Yuan UP is BYD’s first small SUV to adopt e-platform 3.0, which means that this car has been greatly improved in terms of space, energy consumption, safety and other aspects. The new car is a member of the “Yuan” family and will be sold through Dynasty sales channels. Moreover, the new car is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 130 kilowatts. It offers three configuration options, all of which are single-motor versions with a range of more than 400 kilometers, making it very suitable for urban travel.
Judging from the actual car picture of BYD Yuan UP, the design style of this car is very fashionable, integrating the dragon-faced aesthetics of the dynasty and youthful elements. The front face adopts a closed front grille, with the Yuan LOGO in small seal script inlaid in the middle, and the narrow headlight groups on both sides echo it, forming a strong visual impact. The shape of the front bumper is also very unique, which increases the recognition of the vehicle.
Viewed from the side, the car has smooth lines, and the hidden door handles add to the overall look of the car. The black trim and chrome elements on the bottom add some off-road flair. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of this car are 4310/1830/1675mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2620mm, which belongs to the category of small SUV.
The design of the rear is also very distinctive. The horizontal through-type taillights match the cute style of the vehicle. Interestingly, the rear logo of this car uses the BYD LOGO instead of the meta LOGO in small seal font like the front of the car. In addition, the color of this car is light green, which gives people a fresh feeling.
In terms of interior, the new car uses a two-color combination of black + rice, combined with the panoramic canopy, to make the interior space appear brighter. On the center console, a 12.8-inch large central control screen and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel give the vehicle a full sense of technology. At the same time, the new car also retains some physical buttons around the steering wheel and gear lever to facilitate users who are not used to touch screen operations.
In terms of seat configuration, the front driver’s seat supports electric adjustment, and the space in the rear is also very spacious. The rear floor is very flat, and the passengers in the middle will not feel uncomfortable.
In addition, the new car also provides USB ports and small storage compartments in the rear. The trunk space is also very large, and the rear seats can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio, which improves the practicality of the vehicle.
In terms of power, this car uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor model TZ200XSW with a maximum power of 130 kilowatts.
