Baojun Yunduo: Blind Orders Now Open in China | Price Starting at $13,900 USD
The Baojun Yunduo five-seater EV is now available for blind ordering, offering two models with impressive pure electric cruising ranges of 360 km and 460 km respectively. Customers can easily place their orders through the official SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGWM) website. The car’s pricing will be revealed on August 10, coinciding with its official launch. Early indications from Chinese dealers suggest a starting price of around 100,000 yuan (approximately $13,900 USD).
Impressive in size, the car measures 4295/1850/1652mm, with a wheelbase of 2700mm, making it larger than the BYD Dolphin (4150/1770/1570mm) with a similar wheelbase. Equipped with 215/60 R17 tires and a panoramic sunroof, the Baojun Yunduo offers a choice of three exterior colors: white, purple, and green, complemented by two interior color options of emerald and beige.
Under the hood, the Baojun Yunduo provides two battery choices: 37.9 kWh and 50.6 kWh, granting the respective cruising ranges. The battery pack incorporates an innovative module-less technology and a liquid-cooled thermal management system. Charging is swift, taking less than 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% in fast-charging mode. Additionally, the car supports a 220V external power interface. The motor boasts a maximum power of 100 kW and a peak torque of 200 Nm.
Stepping inside, you’ll find a minimalistic and refreshing interior adorned with an elegant emerald green theme. The standard features include an 8.8-inch instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central touch display, both powered by the Ling OS 2.0. The cabin is enhanced by 256-color ambient lights and front-row wireless charging for added convenience.
Safety is a priority for the Baojun Yunduo, featuring autonomous parking, adaptive cruise control, electronic stability control, and dual front airbags for added protection.
Baojun boasts Italian bubble sofa-style seats in the Yunduo, exuding a comfortable living room atmosphere with high-density foams. Independent headrests come standard, while the high-end models offer 6-way electric adjustment for the driver seat and 4-way electric adjustment for the co-pilot seat.
Having already revealed the Yue Ye earlier this year, Baojun is set to make a splash with the Yunduo. Let’s see how this impressive offering performs in the market.
