In a strategic move aimed at expanding its market presence, Xpeng is preparing to launch an all-new EV brand, codenamed “مونا,” slated for a 2024 debut. This new brand will target the burgeoning mass market segment with vehicle offerings priced around RMB 150,000. The goal is to drive the widespread adoption of smart EV technologies within this price range, catering to a vast customer base.

A key element in this endeavor is Didi’s extensive mobility ecosystem, which will provide invaluable support to the “مونا” project by granting access to Didi’s nationwide shared mobility network.
